Waiting, waiting, and more waiting

I bought VRC several years ago and have held the stock until now. I've always been positive believing that they will make it to mining. Now I have my doubts. I thought financing would be settled early this year and now its nearly June with nothing positive reported. They have had plenty of time to negotiate possible sources of finance (as that appears to be all they have to do currently) but still nothing. So here's my question. What are VRC doing at the moment for the huge salaries they get. Are they all working on funding? or what? or maybe there is more than I understand that needs to be done in running a mining company that is not mining? and please don't tell me to contact the company, I've done this and got the usual upbeat response. And what happens to the binding off takes. I think from memory we should have been supplying to one company last year. Will they just wait ... we haven't heard anything re the offtakes for ages. Maybe someone here can enlighten me as to what goes on in these spec stock companies or is it just one big lurk to earn big money at the shareholders expense.
