The announcement expected 3rd week of July is when June qtrly is due out. So don't assume it will contain any new good news or clarify things. A DONE DEAL would warrant an announcement. So when PL says "3rd week of July" he is correct. He just omitted to say it will be the June qtrly activities and financial report. Someone posted on here a few days back saying "JV partner main condition stopping them signing has been the weakening price of platinum".(as best as I can recall). Used to trade higher than gold. Spot NY close last night was down $19 and during trading today the price has recovered $19.At around USD$1,400 it is obviously close to the bottom price the JV partner wants to see. We need a decent move in precious metals to put the presure back on JV partner to sign. Wishfull thinking.
