We all own shares in Telstra either directly or via our superannuation funds and I don't mean self managed funds.
Lets stop talking about a few Mum's and Dad's and accept that we have ALL been shafted by this and the previous governments handling of the Telstra sale.
And don't let the competition wackers suck you in. We have heavily subsidised the Telstra competition by allowing it to get cheap access to infrastucture that we the share holders have paid top dollar for.
If Telstra's profits were so extreme there would be no barrier to a competitor creating its own infrastucture and competing. Next time you see a Choice magazine, use it to light a BBQ
