@Jack_a_Hearts, I remembered initially Sprotts were allotted shares at a premium. However later on were allotted shares below the market value to help them lower the costs. Some others could have a better record, I am speaking from memory which is fading at this stage in my life. I recalled this because as the largest shareholder then, Sprotts were given special deals.
