Haven't done the maths of SBM's operation recently enough to say off the top of my head whether it's a good deal or not, though I suspect that in theory we're swapping the shares in one undervalued miner for another undervalued miner, given that the whole sector seems relatively undervalued given POG.
roughly, as far as I can tell: SBM produces 330koz yr at ~$650 cost. Market cap 700m so arguably trading on an even lower multiple than ALD.
