My point is and always has been - If CAIRN make an official announcement to FAR then FAR have to report it. However, until that time - day to day 'internal discussions' do not have to be reported - which is exactly what I said earlier.
If you want to believe that operators can inform companies of material results (good or bad) and that ASX listed company don't have to report it then we will have to agree to disagree - but that logic would mean companies would never report any negative results because they were deemed 'confidential'.
