Croydon - well I thought they had shelved this one, but it is nice to see an update.

The numbers are actually quite impressive. 5m is a good width and the grades look good: 8% Zn, 180g/t Ag, 0.58% Sn and 0.57% Cu. Although that is unlikely to be representative of the ore deposit as a whole it works out (using current metal prices on Infomine) at 6.5% copper equivalent which is a rich deposit in anyone's language. A ton of that ore would be worth $550 "in ground" (so you have to deduct mining, processing, recovery, capital and admin costs) but given enough tonnes would almost certainly be viable. Jabiru's Jaguar and Bentley VMS deposits in WA have similar overall copper equivalents and small tonnages (2 million tonnes) but they are deep underground deposits. Jabiru was recently taken over by Independence for $532 million.
