Does yesterday's announcement say something very significant that everyone is overlooking.
QHL have seemed to be in bed with Eurocopter for years. There is a QHL process machine based in their site in Munich from memory. And for years Eurocopter there has always been an under tone that they were on the verge of adopting the process. Though nothing has been said about them for a long time.
There are two manufacturers in the frame for DOD's Air 9000 phase 8 acquistion. Eurocopter (EADS - Airbus) and Sikorsky (Lockheed Martin).
Is it fair to assume that yesterday QHL actually put an end to the speculation regarding Eurocopter by announcing it was going with the other guy?
