An EGM just to consolidate some shares? Hello!!!!!: a few weeks before it could be done for free at the AGM. Yes: EGM's cost a lot of money. This Co doesn't have a lot of money. So who is driving this? Someone has demanded this and my guess it will be all about handing out massive wads of shares to someone before something happnes. And this someone doesn't want shares in yesterday's money: they want it in today's money. POST CONSOLIDATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like 10 shares for every one you and I have. But wait, there's more. In agreeing to this, Directors will also receive a wad of shares in today's money. Something is on the cards here and it smells: unless you are a director or part of the "takeover team". I can smell it!
And the pawns in the game will be left stranded. JWT
