it is an odd mix of fear and courage, concern for others as well as self.

I don't want to spend my last years lying in a bed unable to look after myself. Should I have a severe stroke I'll be asking the question - and if I get no help I'll be looking for my own way out thanks.
Paid tax all my life, cared for living and dying people for decades..... I've seen the worst and the best of ppl in Aus. I won't cost the health system more than I must.
