    Hi nk,

Thanks for your comments. Thanks also to all the people who posted suggestions on the GOLD thread re good value junior goldies.

Having thought long and hard about my CGT investment, which I had increased substantially to average down, I decided that the risk was too great, and I pulled the pin. I guess one thing at the back of my mind was CTO, on which I lost a substantial amount some years ago.

Having looked at most of the suggestions on the GOLD thread, and revisited a few companies which I've held in the past, I decided to spread the proceeds over 4 companies (NGF, UML, ORS, PXG) to spread the risk. I also tipped in a few extra dollars, and bought a small parcel of KBL and MRP.

Time will tell whether I've made the right decision, and it's quite likely that we'll see the CGT SP spiral upwards again. However, that's the nature of investing in the market, and once I've made a decision, that's the end of it - I don't agonise over it if I see a company surge ahead after I've sold (which has happened a few times!).

Good luck to you and all the other CGT holders. I genuinely hope that you do well with your holdings.

    Cheers,

    Mike
