Great post Ceaser. Just on Muslims I note that Labor MP Ed Husic who is an Australian born Muslim from Bosnian background does not cop the same treatment here as ALY. Is it because of a different shade of skin colour? Err very white.

"Husic was born in Paddington in Sydney's eastern suburbs, to Bosnian immigrant parents, and describes himself as a Muslim who does not involve himself with the activities which are part of the faith.[2] His family background has gained media attention at various times, most notably when he stood as a candidate for Greenway at the 2004 federal election. He is the first Muslim to be elected to federal parliament.[1]
Husic was raised in Western Sydney and was educated at Blacktown South Public School, Mitchell High School and the University of Western Sydney, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Communications.[2][3]”

Wikipedia also says he is a good friend of Liberal minister Josh Frydenberg who is Jewish.

Isnt it great to have people getting on in spite of different religions.
