Police forces the world over can tell you about the people who just walk into a police station and plead guilty to a murder or some other crime that has been recently in the media. Most of the time, after some basic investigation, it is obvious that they couldn't have committed the crime. The majority of these people have mental problems or at least a over arching desire for some form of notoriety.

Waleed Aly would have them all convicted and locked up regardless of evidence, based on their guilty plea alone. He also states that no one has the right to question the evidence or lack of evidence because there was no requirement to present evidence as there was no trial.

That is one of the greatest displays of muddled thinking I've heard in a long time.
