Short of the date Pugsley100 nominated, Australia Day should be marked as Jan. 1, as aUstralia came into existence on Jan.1, 1901..

WA hadn’t even been thought of in 1788, it didn’t come into existence until 1829, Melbourne 1835 etc.

Jan.26 currently represents invasion day. I don’t want Australia Day celebrated on Jan. 26.
