Waleed thought it meant something, but it didn't. They didn't split along educational lines at all, they split along regional -v- urban lines, and a higher proportion of city dwellers have tertiary degrees. The example I used to show how stupid his thinking was is that the Yes vote had a much higher propensity to use public transport than the No vote. It's even more stark than education, but Waleed didn't have anything to say about it, presumably because he didn't think it useful to highlight those who drive their own car to work :/
