This should please all the anti Tanzanian policy change guys.
They can now stand up and be proud of  the great job the politicans are doing in this country giving away the national resources. I'm sure most have seen the difference between Qatar and Australia regarding the value to the country of the gas produced.
Here is another example of that, Special deals for certain companies here in Australia but Tanzania are the corrupt ones......

In that year, when both countries are forecast to pump and ship roughly 100 billion cubic metres of LNG each, Qatar's government will receive $26.6 billion in royalties from the multinational companies exploiting its offshore gasfields.

According to Treasury estimates, Australia will receive just $800 million for the same volume of gas leaving its shores.


I guess we can all agree it's good for investors of certain companies to rape and pillage the resources of any given country, likely not the best for the locals of that country though.
