Looking through the various posts Condor has always said CDB would improve Governance.

When the company first listed in 2011 they recognized that having a non-independent board was an issue and their first post-listing report in 2011 said "The Company is committed to implementing the highest standards of corporate governance.  In determining what those high standards should involve the Company has turned to the ASX Corporate Governance Council’s Principles of Good Corporate Governance and Recommendations. "

Not implemented due to financial resource limitations and the need for several executive director across dispersed operations. Planned by end FY2011.

Many of the issues we see now and the doubts we have as SH would be reduced or eliminated with an INDEPENDENT board of Directors and complete and timely communications.

Of the Directors only the Chairman is Independent. The Alternative Director cannot (whatever the technicality) be seen as independent and a long time legal adviser is clearly not independent having advised the company on all significant transactions for several years.

If part of what Profitman is doing is asking for replacement of Directors with new or additional independent directors who can objectively and accurately convey shareholder issues to the company then I am all for it.

How can CDB object to what they said they would do as far back as 2011? IS there any other reason the current Board wouldn't welcome additional experienced insight and overview ? One newly appointed  non-independent appointee said he was only a temporary appointment at the EGM (or words to that affected (as reported by an attendee on this forum) so surely a replacement couldn't be an issue ?

The MD said in his address he was aware of the SH anger and frustrations .. now is the time to do something about it and put some new, truly independent and experience directors on the Board. If this doesn't happen then all the talk, apologies and excuses don't mean much, you have to "Walk the Talk"

Like the other poster said ... if you want to do something you can find a way but otherwise you will only find an excuse.
