Was talking to a cabbie today as he drove me to my destination about his hybird.
He liked them but said, sell them when the warranty is done.
His car is about 2 1/2 years old and the battery has to be replaced. Under warranty still though.
I asked what the battery cost and he said $5000. Only a couple of years old and battery screwed.
If you are buying these type of hybrid vehicles you have to use a new set of criteria when assessing the vehicle.
Personally I would not buy a used one at all.
