I wonder how many charges it had done ? If it was a couple a day it's only 1000 cycles . Seems like it should do more than that .
Agree on the second hand bit though . Probably buying a second hand hybrid with a brand new battery might be the go but you'd want to do a lot of homework first .
Modern ICE cars are so efficient and cheap that it is hard to go past one of them I reckon . In the end it's all about the money .
