Extra ordinary opportunities arise when the general market does not buy the story. Where the underlying story is genuinely good and a big schism exists between real value (as defined by big future price rises) and current value.
It often happens that with new technology buyers are reluctant to comit or overcommit until the goods are tangible.
For a few of us the pilot plant was the tangible proof. For the wider market it will be the functioning of the new technology. For the remaining Thomases of this world it will be when the extraordinary gains appear on the balance sheets.
Nobody can pick a bottom in shares but it is unwise to use the falling knife analogy late in the downtrend as the spring analogy is just as likely to come into the picture. Personally I think that there is no serious issue at all on any of their projects.
Re the Al, the company has put its head down and converted an existing plant to work with a new technology. This required significant strutural, ventilation, electrical, mechanical, process and other modifications. EPA regulatory procedures and the chasing of extra water and heat savings are the cause of delays. These are the reasons why the short term traders had to leave. It gave an opportunities for the manipulators /acuumulators to play theit games for that tlittle extra time. This is the only reason for extended retrace imo, which incidently coincided with a wider market retrace.
Soon the plant will be producing the goods and the price will jump up. Nobody will care then, whether they purchased the shares at 20c 22c 19.5c or even 30c when they will be trading at 80c to $1.80c. If you are not are trader you buy at at these levels. If you are trader you will be slowly dipping it and put big orders on the turnaround. The timing of the turnaround will be missed by most (as usual) as it becomes apparant when the price will rise by say 10c or higher from these levels. That is a 50% gain that I personally would not like to losee. You can get a lot more stock at 20c than at 30c.
cheers to the opportunity recognisers
