"The Australian" is quoting the Wall Street Journal on page 21 highlighting the fact that new technology has opened previously inaccessible resources. US oil production grew more last year that in any year in the history of the US oil industry which began in 1859.
The surge comes thanks to a relatively recent combination of technologies HORIZONTAL drilling--just as Central Petroleum is planning to do in the very near future.
