re: drop your shorts here come the bulls Yep could well be more pain to come. One of the major brokers , said yesterday the banking sector was way overvalued. In terms of div yield vs interest rates Im inclined to agree, generally speaking.
Even if the big miners race ahead, weakness in the banks may drag the indeces lower. Most of the major banks go x divi in the next week or so.
