imo, nmdc aim is to lock in iron ore and phosphate supplies for india. they are not buying into companies to then have the company sell ore to china. they will most likely be paying a premium as they will be buying more than just 50% of the company. to nmdc the most important factor would be the right to buy all production at market/or agreed prices.
