yes, it's called ETRADE and COMMSEC and others...nothing to do with circuitbreakers, just inability to cater for high volume crashing market. It happened when the China market dropped earlier last year, there was no chance of buying or selling anything when that mini-crash happened. Imagine what it would be like, if something really serious happened.
In between placing a bid on the online market, with no online system, then trying to place a phone order (which took 30 mins), I lost $3,000 in that less than one hour period. And I a am v small time investor.
