definately playing union it would appear your oppotunities are limited particularly in australia. the scrum in union has been turned into an embarrassment. we all know leagues scrums are useless but they don't pretend they aren't. they know what it is. its a way of openign up the play to get the ball going through hands to hopefully set up a try. union scrums used to be an integral part of the game. when was the last time the all blacks scored a pushover try? they would get one at least nearly every game they played. all this touch, hold, pause, engage rubbish is crap. you have approx 900kg either side packed in waiting for some amateur with a whistle to tell them to "engage" when he is ready. the scrum used to be a weapon. im not sure what it is now.
