Australian rugby just does not have enough good players to be in the same situation. We struggle to pull together a decent 22 man squad, meanwhile NZ have stacks of brilliant players competing for each position.
I'd say there is not a single Wallaby player that has been better than his Kiwi opponent. Maybe Ioane or Sharpe, if anyone.
