Dudes!
Hey, I'm a shareholder, just like many of you and...i am disappointed at the performance of the sp so far.
Call it blind faith or what-may-you, but i cant quite see the logic of company officer and board member decieving shareholders and driving their investments into the ground. I very much doubt that those weve entrusted to deliver value will throw existing s/holders to the side.
Think about it: You are a CEO and you want to gain credibility amongst your peers. You try your darndest to perform and get a pat on the back from s/holders, not infuriate them. Also, as a new and upcoming CEO, you do want to get onto as many boards as you can, and possibly, based on an excellent job well done at your previous job (ie. increasing s/holder value), you may want to be considered for the top job at the next BHP or Rio. They (next big thing) will look at your "CV" and say..."mm...you didnt shaft your s/holders in the face of adversity...you looked for solutions and got the company out of the "shizz"..YOUR HIRED!)
Anyway, to sum it up it would be a pretty massive betrayal for the powers that be were to leave us short changed.
Mmmm. What you reckon?
