Those who can actually get physical silver are paying a $10 (35%) premium above the spot price.
From what I understand, the 8 mega traders shorting silver are trapped into it: they need to continue shorting to protect their previous shorts.
As Ed Steer says, something's gotta give.
Silver producers such as AGD must be claiming part of that 35% premium.
On a local note did you see yesterday in the half-hour time frame before and after closing the AGD SP rose from 19cents to 22cents and then fell back down to 19cents?
Looks like some manipulation there.
