Hi - I never take those kinds of programs very literal - or even serious. It's just another opinion by people who are lucky enough to make an easy living, or tick the program director's selection criteria.
Talking of 'bogans' - it's not a good idea to generalise, or call people names, as seems to be an obnoxious custom on HC!! I have found people have a way of surprising you.
Nowadays the young men, women who do well at school go in for further education and I believe the lower level clerical jobs are missing out on effective workers, but they do get them eventually, possibly from a pool of mums' returning to work, or maybe even older workers who have lost their jobs. Maybe Gumtree isn't the right place to advertise for clerical staff.
