This year has been a busy period for Elsight as we continue to see innovation along with the commercial adoption of drone services and technology across a number of our target markets, and are pleased to share the following update.
In January, Elsight announced Halo had been selected byDroneUpfor their commercial drone parcel delivery rollout program withWalmart. Walmart has recently provided an update on their partnership with DroneUp andannounced that they'll be expandingtheir DroneUp delivery network to 34 sites (currently 3) by the end of the year, across six states, covering up to 4 million US households.
Walmart also announced that throughtheir partnership with DroneUp, they will continue to influence the expansion of drone technology to enable other businesses to explore the benefits of drone solutions in areas like insurance, emergency response and real estate.
