I personally think there is diddly squat chance of a TO at this stage or in the near future. BHP are getting what they need via licence agreements, I daresay Multiserve can get all they need via licences, and any of the other hopefuls can also be served. I doubt there is any need for anyone to be greedy - especially with the way world markets are at present. Which raises an interesting point when deciding what one would accept in any takeover. Not so long ago, I think I would have been happy to hold out for a dollar. But with a meltdown that may continue for many many years (?), now I'm not so sure. If an offer of 30 cents came along, I may need to look to my future; I'm not sure; there's an old saying - there's only one alan bond. So given the climate, the likelihood of a worldwide slowdown, and given a 30 cent offer, what would you all really do? Or is my insecurity showing on a dull Sat arvo. Cheers jwt
