Ever been to a Wilson’s shareholder meeting?
Average audience age would be somewhere between 65 and dead.
All they want is:
A nice fat FF dividend on which to live.
A sense of safety that WAMs diversified portfolio provides.
A steady share price.
A manager that effectively communicates with them.
I don’t think the shareholders really care if there is a bit of ‘growth for growths sake’ with all the recent LIC takeovers, or with with the fees charged, as long as the four points outlined above are being met.
