I'm not sure that the wand doesn't present a dilemma for SK-II and therefore P&G (and therefore OBJ).
Promoting the fact that the wand makes the cream far more effective implies it would add similar value to other less expensive (competitors) products.
They are in the business of selling creams - not wands.
Do they then state that the wand only works with RNA (for example) and risk being exposed? A competitor could quickly ascertain the effectiveness the wand has on their particular product.
The length of time taken in getting this product to market indicates to me that there are forces within P&G, (while impressed with the technology) are nervous about this particular application being in the best long-term interests of the company.
And I repeat - they are in the business of selling creams - not wands.
