People need to understand that you can't blame a connection or disconnect issue only on the WGL application, particularly with so many external factors.

It functions as a VPN so if you put on aeroplane mode, you lose connection with VPN. Any reception failure with your carrier while driving or if you live in a location with poor reception, the VPN may disconnect. If the wifi router gets disconnected at home and there's no data connection on the device, the VPN will cut out. It may even cut on the delay between the switch from wifi to data because there's a short period of no connection. IOS devices in particular have an option to use cell data to back up the wifi connection so if this isn't checked, then you lose connection on that delay.

Other factors include personal settings on a device, disconnect problems etc (stuff outside Wangle's control.)

Remember that the application needs a wifi or data connection to function and that wifi connections will always be naturally a smoother experience.

I intend to do a data test with and without the VPN to download a 1GB file and will post results during February.
