The problem is Wangle cannot optimise SSL encrypted traffic. Seeing as the majority of traffic these days is SSL you will see in real world scenarios that data savings are minimal and no where near what the company claims - It's ridiculous that they publish these "69%" data savings claims on the back of a Speedtest test.
You also have to realise, Google are pushing everyone to use SSL encryption for web browsing and will start downgrading search results for websites that aren't SSL encrypted.
Most apps (Facebook Instagram etc) use SSL inside their app, so this traffic isn't going to be optimised either.
Sure there might be some things that won't be encrypted, say Netflix video streams for example, but does Wangle's "tech" have the ability to optimise already heavily optimised video streams? I don't think so..
The 6% savings you get is probably due to data coming from CDN's that isn't encrypted.
