There's been a lot, and there are still a lot of asx listed companies that exist only to transfer capital to owners from shareholders. It has almost become gameplay to see who can do this most efficiently before the house of cards collapses - it's becoming all too obvious.

Isnt that exactly the point of a stock exchange - to raise capital by offering equity? Believe it or not, the market doesnt exist for traders or investors to make money. It just happens that some have been successful doing so.
