Ok, just called support team and it seems like they've been getting a quite a few reports of bugs etc this morning. They're well aware of connection issues on iOS and are working on that. There's a known bug where it doesn't auto switch from wifi to 4G so make sure you manually disconnect before switching between wifi and 4G for the time being.

They also got reports of acceleration being crap on Android yesterday and that was supposed to be fixed by the update. So yeah, support has been easy to contact and they seem well aware of the issues.
