I've repeated myself many times. If Wangle launches what they have been claming..  there is alot to be excited about as it would be a disruptive product.

The launch is around the corner and the SP is hovering above 52 week lows so the risk :reward ratio is compelling imo.

One thing that many don't realise is that while it may benefit nations with a  developed internet system in many ways, many don't also acknowledge that some of the key markets  will be situated in regions within South America, South Africa, India etc who operate daily with dialup like internet speeds or where bandwidth (data) is very very dear.

I would like to reiterate that across my research previously, Wangle is the only app that features both speed acceleration & data savings.
I also struggle to find an app that is able to apply these features to support SSL encrypted material (https sites , private ingonito sites or  dropbox, email etc. ) which is a massive advantage imo.

    WANGLE
    • Customisation and rebuild of data flows based on historical data flow and user patterns
    • Allowing bigger packets of already compressed data to be sent more effectively, facilitating faster speeds on existing hardware
    • Warpware creates and enables material efficiencies to occur between data flows through its proprietary customised algorithms, which leverages and optimises data flows based on historical user experience and usage.
    • Superior and sharper user experience, on phone, tablet and laptop and compatible with both IOS and Android
    • Re-direction of data via Warpware server delivering faster speeds (up to 300%) and more efficient data usage converting to data savings of upto 57%
    • Additional features to include higher definition streaming, better quality “voice over Internet protocol” calls and additional security through encryption
    • Future generations of the software to include gaming competitive advantage enhancement services;
      -Minimal level of storage required;
    • Technology can be used on any device and is highly scalable
    • Intellectual property protected by custom written algorithm creating significant barriers to entry
    • Minimum data savings of 18% with peaks as high as 57%)
    • Increased speed transfers of over 100% with peaks over 300%
    • First to market compression algorithms which can change the way we consume and transfer data
    ONAVO
    • The Israeli company was acquired by Facebook in 2013 for ~$120million
    • The service claims, through compression, that it can increase the range of a data plan by up to 500% (Goodluck achieving this figure or anywhere near it ).
    • “install it and forget it” nature of the app makes day-to-day use painless.
    • App functions amazingly well in the background, compressing images with no difference in perceived quality most of the time
    • Extra node is added to the path your data takes before reaching your device,
    • Onavo Extend uses APIs that are only available on phones running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwhich) and above. runs on ICS tablets as well
    • Originally released in 2012. For one, Onavo only shrinks data collected from the Internet when The few things that Onavo can’t compress:
    • Using a cellular collection.
    • it doesn’t work with Wi-Fi
    • Onavo was once criticized for being a battery drain and temperature increase to the device.
    • Doesn't work on any SSL encrypted traffic – which includes email, Dropbox, and Facebook if you have ‘force https://’turned on
    • Doesn't work on Streaming video from any source.

    NEUMOB

    • Neumob is aimed at the consumer instead of content providers with deep pockets to optimise the delivery of their content.
    • Neumob has patent-pending technologies to speed boost your Apps by 35%-400%
    • Just like with most VPN services, you can use Neumob to circumvent location-based restrictions, for example, so you can watch Netflix no matter what country you’re in. But you can also pretend you’re in China, Japan, Brazil or Germany, for example.
    • it uses mobile WAN Acceleration for dynamic API calls (similar to what Riverbed does for the enterprise).
    • New users get three free gigabytes of acceleration. After that, they either have to buy more through in-app purchases or by getting their friends to sign up for the service.
    • Neumob relies on some Android API software that only became available after 4.0
    • The app essentially connects to the company’s various POPs or points of presence in various countries to find the fastest route between them, much like a taxi driver finding the best route to bypass typical rush hour traffic.
    • Utilises WAN (wide area networking) acceleration, similar to what content distribution networks (CDNs) such as Akamai and Limelight Networks already offer on a larger scale.
    • "Clearly, the app still needs work, as we had some issues connecting to a Neumob server at times. Also, we could not connect to some apps such as China’s LeTV when the app is set to point to a China server”
    • Works with Wi-Fi, LTE, 4G, 3G and all mobile data carriers.
    • Consumers get access to the latest technologies that only large enterprises had before (CDN, WAN, ADN, SDN)
    • Accelerator: Increase speeds on Wi-Fi & Wireless
    • Traveler: Change your IP to access censored, blocked or restricted content while traveling. By connecting to its various POPs across the world, it could potentially let users access sites that would have been blocked otherwise.
    • Encryptor: Encrypt data traffic for privacy and protection
    • Reporter: See which Apps are using your data

    OPERA MAX
    • Opera Max is a data-management and data-savings app that shrinks videos and photos on almost any app on mobile data connections, as well as Wi-Fi
    • This smart, cloud-based technology does all this before sending the page to your device.
    • The app sets up a VPN connection to Opera on your phone that is activated every time you switch from your home WiFi network to the cell network. All your non-encrypted data is then routed through Opera’s servers and compressed there.
    • You may see the “days of savings left” meter in the app and you will have to go into the app to charge up for another week for free. After the beta period ends, though, Opera plans to give users the option to either see one ad per day of savings or to pay $1 per month.
    • During the beta period, Max will remain free. You may see the “days of savings left” meter in the app and you will have to go into the app to charge up for another week for free. After the beta period ends, though, Opera plans to give users the option to either see one ad per day of savings or to pay $1 per month.
    • Conservative when it comes to image compression, because I’m having a hard time finding any compression artifacts.
    • The server removes any extraneous page elements, shaves off image pixels you won't miss, diagnoses the state of your connection and compresses downloads.
    • “In daily use, my savings averaged out somewhere between 25 and 35 percent”
    • Consumes high level of battery life and phone feels hot

    CHROME DATA SAVER

    • When this extension is enabled, Chrome will use Google servers to compress pages you visit before downloading them. SSL and incognito pages will not be included.
    • Google has offered a way to reduce data usage with Chrome for iOS and Android for more than a year since 2013, and now it is delivering the same proxy compression technology to Chrome on the desktop with Data Saver.
    • As a result, you'll use less data and the lighter pages will load faster.
    • The workflow design is very simple to understand. Whenever, anyone make a search for something on the internet using Chrome, after installing the Data Saver extension, Google Chrome makes the search and sends the data to the Google server. Following that, the user gets the data from the Google server.
    • Data Saver does not work on secure (https) or private (Incognito) pages.Google notes that some sites may not be able to determine your location, some images might look fuzzy, and internal intranet sites may not load.
    • Down side to the extension: due to the compression, pages will load with grainier still images.
    • Built-in feature for Chrome on iOS and Android early last year, claiming it could reduce the size of a page by 20- 50 percent.
    • Means that Data Saver won't compress video content on YouTube, nor when the browser is in Incognito mode
    • For everyday browsing, though, Data Saver will work.
    • “In my limited tests, Data Saver didn’t seem to make a huge difference in page loading times.”
