    He is only 12. Whats the rush to buy shares. Nothing wrong with a term deposit. Markets extremely volatile, just possible your investment will be worthless in 5 years. Not saying this will happen but with the current level of US debt, sooner or later the proverbial will hit the fan. Just my thoughts and I may be completely wrong.
