see you already knew the answer. i am thinking the exact same thing, bring down the debt as much as possible on your primary residence as that will not keep you back from future investment.
Another important thing to note is that many more people whom i speak to are thinking the same thing and 'holding off', if enough people catch on it becomes self fulfilling.
But it is still very interesting to see peoples perepctive to property i.e. my future mother inlaw (after i said im not having kids till the mortgage is paid off) her response is you never pay your mortgage off and lots of people still think like that hence prepared to get into debt and have a huge mortgage hang over their head, not allowing you to do any thing investment wise for the rest of your life
on another note my call for the next few days is short EUR/USD, short AUD/USD, short AUD/CHF, short EUR/GBP. lets see how that go and hopefully they bost my deposit
