That's very frightening reading. I believe it will creep into our society here (Aust). I Wont mention which bank only allows your to transfer funds from your own account to another if with a different institution but are capped at 20K. You then have to make separate arrangements if you wish to transfer more and a ceiling of 120K your limited to this. They use the rhetoric that's its for your own protection.
