I believe that they have to have it clearly sign posted at the point of entry but I could be wrong.
I follow a few self imposed rules.
If it is a business transaction I always use my card, if it’s a non business transition I use cash and I don’t use any services that aren’t business related that require card and won’t accept cash.
Plus I always have a stash of cash tucked away
