We are fast approaching the 4th anniversary of the suspension which is absolutely insane. However the Central West African project that Ding envisaged in 2018 has only growth larger with an economy of scale that will rival Guinea Simandou (now in limbo LOL).
The aggregate volume of high grade ore production
from our Sangha, Mbalam deposits and others straddling the Central West African region will allow our Chinese partners to materially reduce their dependence and supply security risks associated with traditional suppliers.
If Ding can pull this off in a couple of months, he will have achieved the mission impossible within 4 years. The man is a visionary who knew BRI would be a household word perhaps for the wrong reasons LOL but this shows his understanding in the beginning that infrastructure is the key to unlock the world's most valuable iron ore cluster.
Securing infrastructure funding from project backers and partner selection in China over the last 9 months I imagine is a complex undertaking involved a mind boggling myriad of bureaucrats, steel, mining, resource industry leaders, commodity regulators and financing top dogs.
As they say, timing is everything but at the end of the day you get to make your own luck. Now we simply wait for the good news hopefully in September with relisting / IPO to follow.
Bring it on. Go ANS !
We are fast approaching the 4th anniversary of the suspension...
