Suggesting that Bannerman let PB go is high falutin BS. They would not release him 'immediately' unless they had a replacement - unless you are suggesting some form of gross misconduct or incompetence.
All indications are that he has left of his own accord. He may have wanted more money, lost confidence in the project, or had a falling out with the board. It's not a positive.
