its only been 7 weeks for goodness sake! It hasn't been 'quite some time' since the applera deal...it has been just under 7 weeks. Surely anyone who really understands the business would realise that once the applera deal was done, it would take some time to bring other lisence deals to finalisation. Other targets would have quietly been watching the outcome and while they now realise they will have to take a license, do you expect they will be tripping over themselves to? Of course not.
They will wait for GTG to approach them which I am sure has already happened in many cases and I am sure there will be some good news soon. In fact, once the good news starts, I feel certain that there will be lots of it but these deals do take time....cut them some slack!
