Trust the courts? Come on now, you seem more intelligent than that. Depending on the case in question, it outcome can depend on politics, affect on a country's stability, contacts, national security, politics and often in smaller cases it can be simply how the judge is feeling that day.

War crimes are not systemic in the Australian defence force, it's too small to hide systemic numbers of war crimes, however sexism and racism looks like it could be
