    In my experience the average soldier abhors the sort of acts we are talking about. Why? Because once you start doing it to the other side you end up getting it back in retaliation. The Nazis murdered millions of Russians but when the tide of war turned they knew what was in store for them if captured. They ran toward the west to surrender to the US forces to avoid retribution for their attrocities. The actions of our SAS triggered quite a few attacks on our guys I have no doubt.
