Every country has its own special forces. Ever noticed something about the French Foreign Legion or Germany's KSKs or Russia's very best? They are generally physically smaller. They don't seem abnormally large. Our military needs to do what mining companies have been doing for years, namely testing for drug use. It's well known that steroid use in our military is rife. And medics dispense special pills to our boys to help them stay alert & awake. Nothing new here. Stops them getting too tired y'see. Steroids + Amphetamines = angry, volent, paranoid men.Shooting at the enemy is one thing (they are hardly gentlemen). But the overkill that was evident in BRS's VC citation suggests a man who was totally out of control. And the army knew it, it's unsurprising he never rose higher than Corporal. Drug testing in the army needs to be implemented. No steroids or dodgy stay awake meds. This scandal has shamed us all. .
