What astonishes me is the total lack of guilt displayed by most. Here we have around a million people killed all up and there is no collective responsibility for what happened by those in this and other countries who supported the invasion. The Germans are continually dealing with their guilt over what happened in WW2 yet here and in the US noone seems to care. We carp and quibble day to day over imagined transgressions of the current government but what can possibly compare with the near holocaust that we have inflicted on the Iraquis?
