It's becoming clearer day by day that "coalition" efforts in Afghanistan are doomed to failure at best. At worst they will precipitate exactly the opposite to the desired response. What is worrying is that Labor, because of electoral expediency have failed to show the courage to express and explain this to the Australian public.
